Vauxhall VXR8 receives new power figures from 6.2L V8

The UK market will now be able to get the enhanced Vauxhall VXR8 with a more powerful LS3 engine. The new V8 engine grows from a 6.0-litre to a 6.2-litre and it will now have 425hp (317kW).

The car will get 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and the VXR8 automatic model will receive a transmission oil cooler as a standard. The new LS3 engine produces the same emissions and fuel comsuption as the outgoing LS2 motor.

The car will have 20 inch rims and will be in both manual and automatic. The price will be around £35,695 - $70,000 - Auto insurance quotes similar to the old model.
