Bugatti goes topless with the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport

The worlds fastest production car will soon be available in converitble form. The new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport will have a removable roof, to offer 1000bhp wind-in-the-hair motoring for the first time.
It is due to be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance on 16 August, in Pebble Beach, California. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport will use the current models 16-cylinder, quad turbo engine and transmission along with “innovative structural solutions” to compensate for the reduction in chassis stiffness.
The following dat the first Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport build slot will be auctioned by Good and Company at the Equestrian Center in Pebble Beach.
The model is expected to leave the factory around spring 2009.
