Porsche Panamera interior pics

These are the latest spy shots of the four-door Porsche Panamera. They reveal the clear detail of the shape and the new interior.

The model looks as if it is a manual but it will is really a Speedtronic DSG unit which will have subtle gear selectors on the front of the steering wheel. Porsche seems to be persisting with the controversial back-to-front button shifters, which can be seen on the latest PDK 911.

The centrally mounted screen is set unusually low, but it should be a new-generation touch screen system. Most of the controls are now mounted on the imposing centre console, which leaves the dashboard clutter-free.

The Panamera is based on the same platform as the Cayenne, and it will have a range of engines which include a direct-injection V8, a V6 and maybe even a diesel.
