Spy Shots: BMW X6 Hybrid

The new BMW X6 Active Hybrid has been caught undergoing testing. The new green X6 model is almost ready for production and we can expect to see it within 6 months.

The X6 Hybrid will use a dual mode Active Hybrid System, which was developed with GM and Daimler. The Active Hybrid System features high-torque, allows for low-speed driving and high-speed cruises.

The system is a modular hybrid system which can be changed to feature many different vehicle/engine combinations.
