Spy Shots: First images of the Hyundai 4-Door Coupe

Hyundai’s answer to the Mercedes CLS and VW Passat CC, and even the Opel Insignia, the four-door coupe-like saloon. These are the first shots of this model and it was caught undergoing handling tests in France, on a lonely test-track.

The new model is expected to have similar dimensions as well as the chassis and underpinnings of the new Sonata. The new four-door coupe is also likely to get the Sonata’s engine line-up, which features the 165-hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder and 250-hp 3.3-litre petrol V6 engine. The line up also includes the 2.0-litre CRDi diesel engine with 150-hp.

We are not expecting to see this model complete before late 2009 or even early 2010, but we are expecting to see more spy shot, soon.
