Chrysler have confirmed that they will not offer a convertible version of the Dodge Challenger, and according to a new report by Motor Trend, General Motors has also put a hold on the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro convertible, which was expected to make its debut next year.

The reason for this is because of the economic meltdown, and both Chrysler and GM are both on the edge, near the pit which is known as, bankruptcy.

Although the Camaro Convertible has been planned and it was ready for production, General Motors say that they do not have enough money on hand to justify the model to be profitable.

The only change that the model will make it back is when GM get out of this situation which they are in.
