Although Alfa Romeo have delayed their return to the U.S until 2011, they have delivered their first Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione made for the U.S to its rightful owner.

The three 8C’s were lined-up last week already at the Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, Connecticut, as Alfa Romeo were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first clients to take delivery.

Jim Glickenhaus was the first to take delivery of his 8C which has custom paint in the same colour as his unique Pininfarina Ferrari P4/5. After Jim had the car explained to him by Domenico Martino, the development test driver, he went for a 15 mile ride through Greenwich county.

Two other owners also received their Alfa 8C’s.  alfa-romeo-8c-competizione-main.jpg

Out of 500 Alfa Romeo 8C models, only 80 were allocated for the U.S and all of them are sold out.
