Reports state that Suzuki have canceled the 2010 Kizashi

Japan’s daily business newspaper, Nikkei, have reported that Suzuki has ’shelved plans’ to introduce the production version of the Kizashi concept vehicle.

Suzuki recently planned midsize sedan was leaked onto the internet last September and it was meant to debut in 2009 with the sales starting in 2010. The Nikkei article states that Suzuki has postponed the presentation of the Kizashi due to the sharp decline in global auto sales.

The Nikkei has also reported that Suzuki are planning to push pack plans for new plants in Russia and Thailand during 2010.

Although the reports might be true, it will still be nice for Suzuki to comment on this.
