Mercedes-Benz SLK Prototype Spied

Spy images of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK have surfaced, thanks to WorldCarFans. The camouflaged Merc in the images seems to be a similar size to that of the current generation model, and it also seems to feature a retractable hard-top.

The SLK will probably feature a wide and low styling, along with a similar face to that found on the new C and E-Class models.

The rear features dual-exhausts, along with a mix and match set of new and old generation parts.

Power might include a new diesel engine, which would be a first for the SLK.
