Rendering: MINI Cooper Roadster

Rumours on the street say that MINI will reveal their drop-top Cooper Roadster at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be in September. The new Cooper Roadster has been rendered by L’Automobile, and it shows us what the new model could look like.

The renderings remove the back seats and add a soft-top roof which will drop at the push of a button. There will be a more steeply raked windshield, as well as some weight reduction techniques found on the new roadster.

If MINI do build this model, it should arrive in 2010 sometime.
