Audi Have Denied Rumours Of The R8 Electric Vehicle

We recently reported a rumour about the Audi R8 Spyder and the R8 e-Version for the Frankfurt Show. We speculated this as rumour, as it was because Audi have said that there will be no electric model for the Frankfurt show.
The R8 EV was brushed off as not true, while the R8 Convertible was pretty much confirmed for the show. It’s expected that the R8 Convertible will feature a 4.2-litre and a 5.2-litre V10 with 525-hp.
We might still see the R8 EV in the future, but it just seems that the Frankfurt show might be a bit too early to get something like this on the road.
