Ferrari’s Turbocharged Engine Patent Leaked Online

Reports from AutoCar state that they have uncovered news on a brand new Ferrari engine which features a turbocharger. It was said that the turbocharged engine with a V arrangement will probably feature about 8 cylinder, if the drawing is correct – of course.

There are a range of stories which say that the Ferrari brand is changing towards a more fuel efficient future. Reports from about two years ago also said that the new Ferrari Enzo will feature a V8 arrangement with twin turbochargers, so could this be the engine for that model?

There was also news about a hybrid Ferrari unit, and there is also news about a Ferrari hybrid with a 4×4 system.

The various reports are coming in all at once, and if Ferrari do decide to go the forced induction way on their engines, it will mean that there is a new era for cars coming.
