Porsche Are Planning A Diesel, And Also A New Range Topping Panamera

Porsche has already confirmed that they will create a new hybrid version of the Panamera that will enter production after the petrol versions hit the market. There is no word on when the hybrid Panamera will arrive on the market.

There will also be another new Panamera hitting the market, and it will come in a diesel form. The diesel Panamera will apparently use a Volkswagen sourced diesel motor.

“There are V6 and V8 diesels within the VW Group that could be used as a basis,” a Porsche official told the UK publications.

This means that the engine used could be a 240-horsepower V6 diesel engine with a 3.0-litre displacement, similar to the one found in the Cayenne.

Porsche is also apparently working on a new faster Panamera which will fit above the Turbo model. The new range-topper will probably also come with a new suspension kit in the form of steel springs.

Yeah. The new Panamera should use the GTS tag! A diesel version would likely come just before the hybrid model as well.
