The first images of the new Noble M600 for 2010 has been released. Along with the images came some news about the supercar which started that there will be a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre Volvo V8 engine. The M600 will feature 650-horsepower with a 0-100km/h time of 3.0-seconds and a 0-160km/h time of 6.5 seconds. Although the engine is a Volvo unit, these figures kind of taunts any speculation regarding a lack of power.
The M600 is capable of these figures as the body is as light as possible. The total weight is set at 1,275 kilograms and this is because the body is made from carbon-fibre and a steel tube chassis.
The chassis will allow for a 40/60 rear weight distribution and this will be for sporty handling. Expect new brakes and fixed-rate dampers for the suspension unit.
Noble has decided to keep the driving experience as pure as possible, so this means that the M600 lacks ESP and ABS brakes. Traction control will however be available.
Expect a price set around £200,000. Deliveries will begin in November.
