The 2011 Porsche Cayenne Caught Undisguised
Spy News | Dean | August 5, 2009 at 15:28A camouflage free Porsche Cayenne for 2011 has been caught undergoing testing in Germany. The model will be launched during the 2010 year where it will feature a new ‘evolutionary design’. The new Cayenne will be a lot sleeker and it will feature new powerplants, which have not yet been confirmed.
There will be petrol, diesel and of course hybrid units available. We are expecting a 4.8-litre V8 unit with 400-horsepower, along with a 500-hp unit that is turbocharged. The diesel will be an Audi V6 TDI unit.
Porsche will have a hybrid model that will enter production this year, where the powertrain will then be carried over for this 2011 model. The hybrid power will come from a 3.0-litre V6 engine with 333-horsepower engine that is connected to a three-phase synchronous electric motor that pumps out 38kW.
