Frankfurt 2009: Meluks RS2000 — The ‘79 Successor

Melkus has introduced their latest sports car since the RS1000 from 1979. The new RS2000 was at the Frankfurt Motor Show where it was partially hand-made from carbon fibre. The overall weight is 950kg, and the engine is a 1.8-litre supercharged unit sourced from Toyota.
Power is set at 199kW while the 0-100km/h time is 4.9 seconds. The top speed will be 250km/h.
There will be gullwing doors, which seem to be popular.. *SLS AMG.. Duh*
The RS2000 will feature luxuries inside that include leather and air conditioning. There will only be 25 units made and the price is set at 107,500 euros.
