The Lexus LS600h is making its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show where it will have a gently facelift with subtle tweaks that will allow differentiation between this and the hybrid models. The Japanese company added an ECO driving mode, new brakes and a new battery pack.

The 2010 LS600h and LS600h L will be visually different as it will have a new four-bar grille and front bumper with new air intakes and foglamps.

Lexus has added a new set of door mirrors with chrome headlights, new LED turn signals and an entire set of new exterior colours. The instrument panel has been redesigned, while there will be a full on LCD screen in the middle. The new navigation system will have an EMV multi-display touch screen as well as new switches arranged for easier usage.

ECO driving will be changed as the driver accelerates and uses the air-conditioning system. Lexus says that the new Hybrid Driver system will meet Euro V exhaust standards despite the fact that it uses a big 5.0-litre V8 engine as well a 165kW electric motor with an output of 439hp and 520Nm of torque.

The 0-100km/h time is set at 6.3 seconds while the CO2 emissions will be 219g/km. The fuel economy will be 9.2-litres per 100km.
