Leaked images of the new Audi eTron have found their way online prior to the Frankfurt Motor Show. It has been said that the new Audi R8 eTron will spoil the fun of both the Mercedes-Benz and BMW reveals at the show.

The new eTron will now apparently be locked away and secured more than ever before the reveal, as Audi are a bit worried about this leak finding its way online. This is the first news on the car, and Audi probably wishes that it never occurred. However, we happy it did, as new cars rock.

Audi’s eTron will boast a different front grille to the original R8 where it will also have LED headlights, new wheels and a different rear wend. The interior features a driver biased center console with two screens, one for the sat-nav and the other for the navigation map.

All news from the company says that the eTron does not exist, however the news and images prove that it does. The greener Audi R8 variant will either use a hybrid or 100% electric powertrain when ti goes on sale.
