Mansory Cyrus — The Carbon-Fibre Modified Aston Martin
Tuning News | Dean | September 21, 2009 at 17:15
Mansory decided to carbon-up the Aston Martin DBS and the DB9. So what do we mean by carbon-up? Well, it pretty much means, a carbon-fibre body kit.
Although this might sound sick if you’re racing in Need For Speed, or something, it’s not so great in real life. However, we’re just relaying news, and who are we to judge.
Anyway, the new Mansory Cyrus is a carbon-fibre-modified Aston Martin with new aerodynamic changes along with new interior and wheel enhancements.
According to Mansory, the Cyrus “aerodynamic components are made of extremely light ‘prepreg autoclav carbon’ and do not only include wing extensions for the front and back, but also side skirt attachments and linings.”
So, the package includes a new front end with larger air inlets, a new carbon-fibre bonnet, a new rear skirt with an integrated diffuser, four-stainless steel exhaust pipes and a sports exhaust system. There will be new slotted power domes on the carbon-fibre bonnet for extra air intake into the 12 cylinder engine.
The wheels will be in the side of 20 and 21-inches, where they will be wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires.
Inside will house some more carbon-fibre, and Cyrus logos here and there. Check out the images below, and you be the judge.
