SEAT has already launched its new Exeo range, where it’s now time for extra incentive to buy the car. The Spanish automaker has added a new couple of engines, where the first one is the 2.0-litre TSI unit, and the other a 2.0-litre TDI CR motor.
These engines will join the already introduced petrol and diesel engines. There will be 200-horsepower, 150kW, coming from this motor, where the gearbox will be an automatic sequential Multitronic ‘box with steering wheel shift paddles. There will be a 235km/h top speed, with a 0-100km/h time of only 7.3 seconds.
The ST version will only allow a top speed of 230km/h, with a 0-100km/h sprint of 7.6 seconds, which isn’t really noticeable.
SEAT’s new diesel addition for the Exeo will push out 120-horsepower, 88kW, of power. These lower figures are due to the lower turbo pressure and different engine management system. The fuel consumption is rated at 5.3-litres per 100km.
Of course you can’t only update engines, so Seat decided to add a new BOSE sound system with 10 speakers and an MMI navigation system.
