Chrysler dealerships have received the news that their first batch of 500 minicars for 2011 will in fact be the range-topping Abarth models.
The Chrysler brand will receive 1.4-litre 16v turbocharged minicars with 135-horsepower. The Abarth models are good for a 0-100km/h time of 7 seconds along with a top speed of 127km/h. The fuel economy isn’t bad either, as it sits at 25/33mpg.
Enhancements on the sporty Abarth start with a new bodykit, 16-inch wheels and a new beefier steering wheel with a set of sport seats.
Pricing is expected to start at about $18,000.
