Ferrari has announced that Fernando Alonso will move to their F1 team in 2010, where he will then race alongside Felipe Massa. The current Massa-teammate, Kimi Raikkonen, will have to leave the team in hopes of obtaining a position elsewhere.

The Finnish driver said that he would only race for one of the top teams, and there has been a fair amount of rumours revolving around Kimi joining McLaren for a second time. It has been said that given the circumstances, Kimi would fit in well with the McLaren team.

This story does not however end here, Kimi has apparently been offered a spot in the Toyota and Red Bull racing team. Both of these teams are more than interested in signing the driver for a couple seasons. If Kimi had to of course join Red Bull Racing, he would race alongside Sebastian Vettel. Mark Webber would then be ousted with a large amount of money.

“We are negotiating even with teams that everybody thinks have no vacancies,” says Kimi Raikkonen’s manager, Steve Robertson.
