Fiat has released a full-on galley of the Fiat Punto Evo. The Punto Evo is the 2010 version of the Grande Punto which houses new bumpers and lights. There is a new redesigned grille, along with new alloy wheel design to complete the exterior changes.

The inside has been updated with a new redesigned dashboard that has a new instrument cluster, center console and new fabric options.

Engine wise there is a new 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel unit with a 2 percent fuel-consumption improvement, while the 1.4-litre MultiAir petrol unit should cut fuel-consumption by around 10 percent. The 1.4-litre engine will have an electrohydraulic valve management system in order to control the airflow into the engine. The controlled airflow will result in more power with less fuel consumption.

Fiat has said that the new 1.4-litre MultiAir engine should offer around 15 percent more torque than the regular engine.

Equipment wise there will be a new Blue&Me-TomTom infotainment system.

Sales will start for the European market during the second half of October.
