Official Sketches Of Subaru Sports Car Based On The Toyota FT-86 Coupe

Toyota has already released their version of the supercar built with the Subaru partnership. The Toyota FT-86 sports coupe featured a fancy look, a rear-wheel-drive layout and a really low price for when it goes on sale in 2011.

Despite what we saw from Toyota, it’s now Subaru’s turn to show us what they got. The Japanese automaker has apparently had a few of their official sketches released into the interwebz. These images reveal the future of the new Toyota-Subaru model.

These images are drawn in the early design stage of the car, where we are still unsure if these are the real deal images.

All we know about the Toyota-Subaru partnership is that both cars will use the same platform along with a Subaru engine. Expect rear-wheel-drive for the Toyota model, while Subaru might offer all-wheel-drive.
