Rumours revolving around the Formula One world has said that Renault are planning to exit from the sport. After the crash-gate incident earlier this year it seems as if sponsors are willing to withdraw their financial support to the team with immediate effect.

Although Renault might stop racing, it was said that they will not stop providing power plants to customer teams. They will continue to supply Red Bull Racing with engines so that they can compete in the sport.

At the moment there are also two people interested in buying the Enstone team.

“One buyer was identified as Gerard Lopez, co-founder of venture capital firm Mangrove, and the other a Russian by the name of Andrej Krajnik, who is linked with the existing Renault sponsor Megafon,” said a Swiss publication.
