The Last Pre-Production Chevrolet Volt Has Been Built! Testing Time!

The last pre-production version of the Chevrolet Volt has finally left the building. Uhm, test-assembly facility even. The, so called revolutionary, hybrid from Chevrolet will now make its way to Detroit where it will undergo hot weather testing to make sure that all the technology works at a decent temperature.

“This is the same kind of work we do on any new car, but it’s got a different purpose,” said Keith Brown, who assembles new vehicles in the preproduction facility. “We want to get off foreign oil. I hope everybody buys the Volt and loves it, and we can push the industry in that direction.”

The Chevy Volt is expect to blow the market away in November, 2010.
