Nissan has revealed their new 2010 Fuga – the Infiniti M – at the Tokyo Motor Show. The new luxury sedan will feature two different V6 engines, one being a 2.5-litre and the other a 3.7-litre unit with 328-horsepower. There will be a hybrid Fuga released in the future as well, and this model will boast a a 3.5-litre V6 engine with an electric motor.
Nissan has said that the hybrid has “a single electric motor/twin clutch arrangement. Innovatively, the first clutch is installed between the naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 and the electric motor. The result of this configuration, where all components act on a single prop shaft to the rear differential, is a consistent driving feel under all conditions with linear performance and the ‘direct responses’ that the engineers sought.”
The Nissan Fuga will come with the latest technology and this includes Double Piston Shock Absorbers and an Intelligent Transport System which will alert the driver of upcoming obstacles.
