Tokyo 2009: Subaru Reveals The Exiga 2.0GT STI

Subaru has revealed their brand new Exiga 2.0GT which has been modified by the STI department. The new Exiga 2.0GT STI by Subaru will be a mixed-breed MPV with a seating layout of up to seven passengers.

The engine will be a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit with four-cylinders that pump out 221-horsepower when connected to a five-speed automatic gearbox.

Outside changes for the STI include new aerodynamics that feature a front lip spoiler, side skirts and 17-inch wheels. There will be a sporty exhaust tip for show as well.

Inside will house STI sports seats along with leather and alcantara trim. There will be red stitching along with cabon-fibre trim to spice things up, while the STI division has then added STI badging on the steering wheel, gear knob and gauges.

The chassis on the Exiga 2.0GT has been enhanced with a new suspension, brake and steering system.

Expect 300 units to be sold for around 3,591,000 Yen.
