Toyota-Australia are working on a new hybrid Camry which will apparently be faster and sportier than the petrol sibling. The Toyota engineers down-under said that the Camry hybrid will even use less fuel than the Yaris model.

Toyota’s new hybrid sedan will made its debut in Australia where it will be one second quicker than the petrol version in the 0-100km/h sprint. The hybrid Camry will then go on to return as little as 38 miles to the gallon.

The upgrades on the hybrid will include a new suspension, new steering assistance and a lot more sportiness.
