Lamborghini’s New Range Topping Urus — Details & Rendering

Lamborghini is apparently developing a new car called the Urus to rival against the next Ferrari Enzo. The Urus will be a seperate model from the Murcielago replacement called the Jota. The Jota will actually sit below the new Urus supercar.

This means that Lamborghini are actually busy with the development of two new cars.

The source has said that the Urus will boast a modified Jota chassis which is made out of carbon fibre. The body for the Urus will also be made out of carbon fibre, which is very different to the alminium-based Jota.

Expect the same 6.0-litre V12 engine in both models, where the power will be set around 800-hp in the Urus. Lamborghini are preparing for a 0-100km/h time of under 3-seconds.

The Urus will only arrive in 2011.
