Lee Noble will create attempt to recreate the spirit of his original Noble M12. The new supercar will go on sale next year under the newly formed Fenix brand. Noble told autocar that the successor will cost £70,000, and it will be a “track-focused” car.

The engine is expected to be a large V8 unit with over 400bhp of power which uses a six-speed manual gearbox.

“I see it being in the same market as the M12,” Noble said. “It is an evolved version and what I would have loved the M12 to be if I were still making it.”

The supercar will not have any anti-lock brakes, but there might be a traction control system. The idea is pretty much the same behind that of the M12 — a raw driving experience.

The car will be produced in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and it will come from the same plant which produced the M12. The chassis is already under construction in South Africa.

Fenix Automotive will see all of the cars built in South Africa and then distributed out of the country after that.
