BMW has struck a milestone — a massive milestone, that is! The 5,555,555th 5-Series has been produced, and this model comes 27 years after the first 5′er was released. The 5,555,555th 5′er was the 525d xDrive Touring which has been donated to the Bavarian Forest National Park, which just happens to be the oldest forest national park in Germany.
The park is about 24,000 acres and it was created in 1970. This reserve hosts 800,000 people per year, and it boasts all kinds of attracts such as wild animal enclosures and even hiking trails.
The sponsored BMW will feature xDrive all-wheel-technology along with a power output of 145kW and an average fuel consumption of 6.9 litres per 100km. The CO2 emissions will be set at 184g/km.
Overall, we’re quite upset. We were hoping that the 5,555,555th model would be something cool, fast and definitely powerful.
