The Aston Martin Rapide Sport Saloon — New Details & Images

Aston Martin’s take on a four-door saloon sure looks a lot better than the Porsche’s work on the Panamera. Despite the difference in styling, the idea is the same — a sport, yet exclusive family car with four-doors.

The new high performance Rapide sports sedan has his the web featuring news and of course, images. The new four-seater will boast 301-litres of boot space with a 6.02-litre V12 engine with 477-horsepower (356 kW) of power. The peak torque is set at 600Nm when at 5,000 RPM.

There will be a six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic ‘box, and this will allow the driver to change gears automatically or manually through paddle shifts on the steering wheel.

Aston claims that the 0-100km/h time will be around 5.3 seconds where the top speed is 303km/h.
