Audi Are Planning To Use The A2 Name Tag On A New Car

Audi are planning to build a successor to the A2. The news comes from AutoCar as their spoke to some top-dog at the German brand.
“As we gave the A1 that nomenclature there’s clearly room for another product and another concept between the A3,” CEO Rupert Stadler told the publication in an interview. ”If you don’t have to explain a car like the A2 then it works.”
There are no details on the model, but it was said that the A2 is an obvious addition to the company. Stadler then killed off any rumours suggesting that Audi will get a VW Up!-based concept.
It’s expected that the A2 will feature electric power as well.
