New Entry Level VW Scirocco For The UK Market

British buyers will soon be able to benefit from a new entry-level version of the Scirocco coupe. The new model will benefit from a 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine with 122-horsepower and 147lb-ft of torque. All of this will go to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

The new motor will boost the car from 0-100km/h in 9.7 seconds, and the top speed is 200km/h. The fuel consumption will be 6.4-litres per 100km.

Pricing starts at £18,860 RRP, where the standard equipment will include a six-CD changer with iPod connectivity, rain and dusk sensors, a multi function computer, air conditioning and a set of 17-inch wheels.
