Honda Has Released Details & Images On Their New HSV-010 GT Race Car
Special/Limited Editions | Dean | January 18, 2010 at 22:21Honda has unveiled their brand new HSV-010 GT race car which will compete in the GT500 class of the Japanese Super GT Series. HSV stands for Honda Sports Velocity, if you were wondering. The new HSV-010 GT racer will replace the previous NSX which has been removed from the line up.
The NSX is the base of the new supercar, and it will live on in spirit. The new HSV-010 GT will have a front-mounted engine with rear wheel drive. The new engine will be 3.4-litre V8 unit with 500-horsepower and more than 392Nm of torque.
The racer will weight in at just over 1,100kg and it will boast a double wishbone suspension all-round, followed by paddle shifters and electric power steering.
