Tata’s Nano Won’t Cost $2,500 When It Goes On Sale In The US Market

The Tato Nano is expected in the United States where it will be smallest, and most affordable city car around… Or so they say. Recent reports around the car state that the pricing for the Nano will be slightly above the original expected price of $2,500.
Warren Harris, Tata’s spokesman said “The structural changes that would need to be made, the changes that would be required as far as emissions are concerned, and some of the features that would be appropriate to add to the vehicle for the North American market, obviously that would drive up the price point,” Harris said.
The pricing for the European model is $8,000, what can USA expect?
