Volkswagen Are Planning To Be Number One By 2018

Toyota previously announced that they are aiming to stay the number one automaker, worldwide, where Volkswagen has replied by saying — your time is coming, Japan! The Japanese company known as Toyota are expecting a sales increase of about 6 percent over the next 11 months, where VW has replied that the next few years will see change in the market.

Martin Winterkorn, the top-dog bossman at VW has said that the groups seven brands, VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti will soon work together to pump out more than 10 million car sales every year by 2018.

Martin said that this year alone will see about 60 new models, and concepts being revealed.

These models include the following badges: Passat, Jetta, Phaeton, Touran and others for the VW, while Audi will have the A1, A6, A8 and A7.
