The Scirocco Will Now Boast 155kW From The 2-Litre TSI Engine

Volkswagen’s new Scirocco will be available with a 2.0-litre TSI engine which boasts 155kW. This motor will replace the 2.0-litre TSI with 147kW. The torque has been upped to 280Nm from 1,700RPM and this is similar to the Golf GTI.
There will be a 6-speed DSG gearbox, or 6-speed manual transmission — which ever you prefer. The 0-100km/h time is 6.9 seconds and the top speed is 240km/h.
The fuel consumption is set at 7.4-litres per 100km.
Pricing starts at R325 200 for the manual and R339,700 for the DSG.
